Privacy Best Practices
One of the biggest challenges in the Canadian (and global) privacy landscape is education and awareness, specifically to individuals, non-profits, and SME (small and medium enterprise) organizations. For over a decade we’ve been helping resolve this challenge in many ways, through education, training, investigations, and audits. Now we want to step back and help organizations take those first steps in establishing best privacy practices.
We’ve been working with industry experts, regulators, and our clients to develop a list of privacy best practices. By meeting or exceeding this list, you can demonstrate both understanding and compliance in regards to protecting the personal information under your control. We will be publishing all organizations that provide evidence they have done this, when we officially launch the program.
This is a request for action: If you want a copy of the privacy best practices checklist so you can be one of the first organizations published as compliant, email kris at privasectech.com.
